 Subdivision Modeling - Faucet:

For this project was to model a faucet with scalable detail so when rendering it out it will look clean and smooth. First was coming up with a base mesh for the faucet that will give the shape when I smooth it. most primitives that were used were pipes and cylinders ranging from 8 or 16 subdivisions for making good connective geometry. For most of the neck, I extruded out along a curve to give it a smooth bend. Out of the base part of the faucet, we extracted the bottom faces and extruded them out in symmetry mode to make the flange part of the faucet whiles keeping the subdivisions the same. Once the base mesh was done, I kept adding edge loops and bevels to hard edges to keep their distinct shape while it was smoothing out.

Certain issues that have come out during the making of this model had to do with beveling in certain parts. The part that had those issues was the flange piece of the Fauset. When creating a beveled edge around the flange would appear corner bevels in places that should not have them. To fix it I moved and merged the affected vertices and aligned them to the outer edge vertices to keep the straight bevel. Other than that issue everything went smoothly.
